The Minsk branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Moscow office of the Hungarian Export Promotion Agency (HEPA Moscow) will hold a joint online conference on cooperation between Hungary and Belarus in the field of FMCG trade.
The international online conference "Economic cooperation Belarus - Hungary in the field of trade in FMCG products, light and food industries: consumer goods" will be held on June 23, 2021 at 11:00 Moscow time (10:00 CET). The event will be held in a videoconference format via Zoom. The duration will be approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes.
The conference will raise the key issues of Belarusian and Hungarian companies entering foreign markets, and will also consider the nuances of certification, customs and logistics. The speakers will assess the prospects for cooperation in the field of trade and commodity circulation in popular consumer goods.
The following topics are planned to be discussed at the conference:
- organization of joint Hungarian-Belarusian partnerships and enterprises;
- certification, logistics, law;
- investment programs, trade finance systems;
- localization of production;
- technology transfer;
- determination of priority directions for the development of cooperation;
- prospects for the development of cooperation between Hungary and Belarus in the economic sphere.
The event is organized by the Minsk branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Moscow office of the Hungarian Export Promotion Agency (HEPA Moscow). The Minsk branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry is engaged in the implementation of the interests of members of the BelCCI of the Minsk region in the field of foreign economic activity. The chamber's initiatives are aimed at increasing exports, attracting foreign investment and providing practical assistance to companies. The co-organizer of the international conference - the Moscow office of the Hungarian Export Promotion Agency - has been participating in the organization of such events not for the first time. The goal of HEPA Moscow is the comprehensive development and strengthening of Hungarian foreign economic ties and relations throughout the area of responsibility, which includes a number of former Soviet republics: Belarus, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan and Georgia.

These conferences help to understand what issues a company may face, what to expect and how to act correctly when carrying out foreign economic activity. Speakers and experts from both Belarus and Hungary will speak at the official part of the event. The key speakers are: Sergey Vladimirovich Nabeshko, Director General of the Minsk Branch of the BelCCI, Foreign Economic Relations Attaché of the Hungarian Embassy in Belarus Andrea Segedi, External Communications Director of the Moscow partner office of HEPA Dmitry Peshkov, Deputy General Director for Foreign Economic Relations of the Minsk branch of the BelCCI Irina Vladimirovna Ivanova, as well as the head of the Moscow branch of the IIB (International Investment Bank) Grigory Alexandrovich Gruzinov and an expert in the field of logistics and certification of "Logistic Solutions" company Oleg Svyatoslavovich Borisovets.
The event also includes a block with business cases, where representatives of Hungarian companies will speak. The event will be attended by: Herbow International Zrt., which produces environmentally friendly household detergents and cleaning products based on the fruit of the "soap tree", Thermal Kozmetikai Kft., Which produces cosmetics based on thermal water from medicinal sources of Hungary, as well as Abonett Kft. which produces organic, eco-friendly and gluten-free products for a healthy diet.
The working languages of the conference will be Russian and Hungarian. Simultaneous and consecutive interpretation of the conference will be provided by the Moscow office of the Hungarian Export Promotion Agency (HEPA) with the technical support of specialists from the Minsk branch of the BelCCI.
