The Orenburg Region is a trade "bridge" from Europe to Asia and a promising region for the development of the agro-industrial sector, attracting investment projects and business initiatives. To discuss the prospects and real economic potential of joint projects, the Ministry of Economic Development, Investments, Tourism and Foreign Relations of the Orenburg Region, the Office for Foreign Economic Affairs of the Orenburg Region, as well as the Moscow office of the Hungarian Export Promotion Agency (HEPA Moscow) are organizing an international online conference on rural economy and cooperation of the Orenburg region of the Russian Federation and Hungary in the agro-industrial complex. The conference "Economic cooperation between Russia and Hungary in the agro-industrial sector: Orenburg region, topical issues" will be held on April 30, 2021 at 12:00 Moscow time, at 14:00 for the Orenburg region and at 11:00 Hungarian time (CET).
The event will be held in a videoconference format and will be organized on the ZOOM electronic platform, with the technical assistance and support of the Ministry of Economic Development, Investments, Tourism and Foreign Relations of the Orenburg Region. Working languages are Russian and Hungarian. Simultaneous and consecutive interpretation will be provided by the Moscow office of the Hungarian Export Promotion Agency (HEPA Moscow).
At the conference, organized in the framework of the development of economic cooperation between the Orenburg region and Hungary, it is planned to discuss the following topics:
- Interaction between Russia and Hungary in the field of agro-industrial complex;
- Support programs, development of economic cooperation of the Orenburg region;
- Investment programs, trade finance systems;
- Certification, logistics, law;
- Localization of Hungarian manufactures and joint ventures in the Orenburg region;
- Transfer of technologies;
- Determination of priority directions for the development of cooperation between Hungary and the Orenburg region;
- Prospects for the development of cooperation between Hungary and the Orenburg region in various sectors and spheres of economic activity.
Speakers from Russia and Hungary will speak at the conference. Among the speakers from the Orenburg region are the Minister of Economic Development, Investments, Tourism and Foreign Relations of the Orenburg Region Denis Viktorovich Goncharov, Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Trade, Food and Processing Industry of the Orenburg Region Vladimir Anatolyevich Kataytsev, Head of the Foreign Economic Activity Department of the Ministry of Economic Development, Investments, tourism and external relations of the Orenburg region Dyachenko Alexander Andreevich with the presentation of the project "AGROPOEZD".
Pavel Stanislavovich Ilyin, Trade Representative of the Russian Federation in Hungary, will also provide information on cooperation between the countries in the field of agro-industrial complex.
Hungary will be represented by Madari Ákos, Attache for Foreign Economic Relations of the Hungarian Consulate in Kazan, with information on state support for Hungarian exporters, and the agency will be presented by the Director of External Communications of HEPA Moscow - Dmitry Yuryevich Peshkov with information on HEPA's activities in the field of agriculture and prospects for cooperation with the organization in various sectors and spheres of economic activity.
Also, the conference will be attended by: Head of the Moscow branch of the International Investment Bank (IIB Hungary) Grigory Alexandrovich Gruzinov, who will talk about support for Hungarian exporting companies, investments, trade finance programs and risk insurance;
Head of the department for relations with foreign startups - Skolkovo Foundation Daria Shunina with information on support programs and functioning of the Skolkovo Innovation Center.
General Director of "Logistic Solutions" Oleg Borisovets with information for Russian and Hungarian companies about entering foreign markets, consideration of issues in the field of certification, customs and logistics.
The program of the event includes speeches by representatives of Hungarian and Russian companies who will share their business cases and experience, for example, Tamas Toperzer, head of the export department of the Hungarian company AgroFeed Kft, will share information about the advantages of localizing production in Russia.
Russian and Hungarian business cases will also be presented at the conference, a number of issues and proposals for organizing economic cooperation between the Orenburg region and Hungary will be considered.
